Since 2015 Matthias Brüll is Chief Executive Officer of GroupM Germany, which handles a gross billing volume of € 7.8 billion (source RECMA / 2016).
In 2011 Matthias was appointed as Chief Executive Officer of MEC and took over the overall responsibility for MEC Germany and Switzerland. During this time, MEC became third-largest media agency in the German market. Since 2006 Matthias has been Managing Director at MediaCom and was responsible for the global Volkswagen account. At the same time he headed further client teams as well as MediaCom’s business activities in the range of buying and trading. Two years earlier the business administration graduate worked on the client side: at BMW AG, he held different positions in the Marketing division. From 2001-2004 he was in charge of the global media supervision for all Group brands of DaimlerChrysler (Mercedes, smart, Chrysler, Maybach).
