Speaker: Tobias Conrad
Tobias Conrad has been in charge of the publisher and product management at Ströer Media Solutions since October 2016. One of his main tasks is to manage and extend Ströer’s leading digital portfolio of well-known publishers like Olympia Verlag (kicker.de), Motorpresse Stuttgart (auto-motor-und-sport.de), Bauer Verlag (cosmopolitan.de) and Ströer’s own assets of the Ströer Content Group (t.online.de).
Conrad, a graduate in business management, is looking back on a career in digital business of more than ten years. As one of openBC’s first employees (Open Business Club, today XING AG), he significantly supported the rise of the company as Director Business Development and helped to establish digital networking in Germany. At Vodafone MediaSolutions! he gained experience in media and was involved in bringing mobile advertising to Germany. His passion for digital business then took him to Axel Springer AG where he was responsible for the marketing of Bild.de, Bild mobil and Sportbild.de and later on, as General Manager Marketing for the whole digital portfolio of Axel Springer Media Impact, today Media Impact. Before joining Ströer, Conrad worked also for RMS Radio Marketing Services and built the online couponing platform deals.com (today: retailmenot.de) as General Manager Germany for global market leader RetailMeNot Inc.
