Johann Hermann

Johann Hermann (44) has been Managing Director of EuGD GmbH, the operator of the EuGD platform, since February 2019.
Born in Munich, he has worked in the digital economy for almost 20 years - as an entrepreneur as well as in management positions in online marketing companies – he has extensive expertise in the successful scaling of digital business models as well as in the data business.
After studying business administration in Regensburg and studying for an MBA in the USA, Hermann founded the domain registrar and Internet provider united-domains together with fellow students in 2000. In 2004, it was sold to Lycos Europe, for which Hermann was a member of the Executive Board until 2006.
He then moved to the online marketing and agency side of Quisma (Group M), where he was most recently Managing Director of the German-speaking market. Together with the founding team of Quisma, he developed the performance marketing agency under the umbrella of Group M (WPP Holding) into one of the top 3 players in this field in Europe.
Since 2016, Hermann has been responsible for the areas of product development, data protection and customer care as COO at Nano Interactive, the leading provider of search-intent targeting.
