Matthias Schwarte from Hamburg left his hometown through the "gateway to the world" early on. His media business studies took him to Bielefeld and Cape Town, and his master's degree in sports & event management to Sydney. With this background, the camper fan was able to gain five years of experience in agencies before finally joining ECCO in Denmark as marketing manager for the outdoor division. After more than seven years, including as Head of Marketing for Central Europe, the father of two moved on. Back in Hamburg, Matthias Schwarte is now Head of Marketing at Globetrotter.
