Speaker: Sven Angel
After studying business administration Sven Angel startet his professional career 2001 in the Sales department of Procter&Gamble, working with as a Key Account Manager with large retailers such as REWE, Rossmann and Müller. In 2005 he joined Microsoft Advertising to build up the newly found advertising business by working closely with leading media agencies. He then joined Google in 2010 to develop the branding solutions at Google, selling YouTube and Google Display Network to automotive, retail and travel companies. In 2014, after the closing of the local Google office in Düsseldorf, he started working for Henkel, supporting the many beauty brands at Henkel to become more digital. End of 2015 he joined REWE Group to establish the Retail Media business. His main tasks were the hiring of a team, the development of a portfolio of advertisement solutions and the generation of advertising revenue with many FMCG brands. Today the focus of his work is to extend the business with the over 200 brand and agency partner in Germany and to drive awareness to Retail Media in general.
