Speaker: Marcus Koch
Marcus Koch studied Chemistry in Konstanz (Dipl. Chemist) and International Marketing (EA/ MBA) in Reutlingen. After he worked as a freelancer and wrote his diploma thesis at ETH Zurich and the HSG Saint Gallen, he started his career at a publishing and advertising company in Munich. As a product manager, he was responsible for starting an online-unit and for promoting several publications. After that, he started working as a consultant for the advertising agency Schindler, Parent & Cie. Besides classic allocations, he supervised primarily online companies with their development and questions regarding sales, marketing and communication. Additionally, he was chairman of the Tineon AG. As the chairman of Goldbach Interactive (Germany) AG he has developed performance marketing strategies and concepts for several considerable clients for years now. Since 1st November 2014 he is the manager of redblue Marketing GmbH (a subsidiary of the Media Saturn Holding AG) and responsible for digital marketing and marketing efficiency. Besides, he has a seat on the board of the BVWD e.V. and he is a docent at the DDA for search engines marketing. He also has a lectureship at the University of Furtwangen regarding performance marketing.
