Amir Habil is the Global Digital Marketing Lead at thyssenkrupp Materials Services since April 2016. In the Digital Transformation Office, the global headquarters in Essen, he is responsible for the development and strategic development of the global digital marketing channels (B2B / B2C).
Before his time at thyssenkrupp, Mr. Habil gained experience as a digital marketing manager of the brand L'Oréal Paris, L'Oréal's largest brand. In this position, he was responsible for the launch of the "Makeup Genius App" in Germany.
The app and the related campaign earned numerous awards locally and internationally (including 4x Cannes Lions category Mobile, Best of Mobile Award Advertising 2015). The app has been number one in the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store for several weeks. In addition, Mr. Habil was involved in the Group's initial programatic advertising tests.
Previously, Mr. Habil, as co-founder and Head of Online Marketing of the Sixt start-up "myDriver", worked on an app, which marketed Limousine Service at taxi prices. With an international team he quickly positioned the app: Especially through the use of all performance marketing channels and particularly the mobile marketing channels - always with the clear focus on dramatically increasing sales.
Before his time at myDriver, Mr. Habil worked in the agency business (Tengelmann, today tradeers) as well as with the eCommerce Pure-Player benuta.de.
Since 2015, Mr. Habil has also been teaching online marketing at the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences, where he completed his diploma course in International Management prior.
