As General Manager E-Commerce & Advertising at Axel Springer, Robert Blanck is responsible for all activities in the relation between user, website and advertising that go beyond traditional ad sales.
During his 10 years at BILD and the Axel Springer media brands, he developed new, sustainable business models, for example by founding the BILD shop or monetizing users despite adblockers.
His expertise in the assessment of the commercial consequences of technical and legal changes in the market currently keeps him very busy with questions regarding GDPR and ePrivacy.
Robert Blanck is part of the IAB working group on the establishment of the Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), the second version which is currently under discussion.
