Thomas Kabke-Sommer knows the digital and media business in all its facets. He has been active in the digital industry for over 20 years and builds on many years of management experience in leading German media companies and agencies. Since February 2018 he has been managing director of the online audio specialist Crossplan Germany and loves his job. When he isn’t busy advising his customers, he steps in front of the microphone himself and moderates the in-house podcast 'Digital Audio Game Changer‘. Together with his guests, he he discusses how voice and AI are changing our digital communication. Prior to Crossplan, Thomas Kabke-Sommer demonstrated his digital expertise for United Internet and the RTL Group in Germany. For both companies, he was involved in setting up subsidiaries with a focus on the development of digital business segments. Further positions on his CV include Managing Director of Thomson Media Group (Ebiquity), where he built up the customer service and sales departments, and his role as Managing Director of uniquedigital (now Syzygy Media). Thomas Kabke-Sommer holds a degree in Business Administration and a second degree in Change Management.
