Over the past 15 years, Miriam has been deeply entrenched within the digital economy, held various senior management positions in multinational blue-chip corporations (e.g. eBay, PayPal) and founded and managed digital startups. As Chief Customer Officer at idealo.de (leading price comparison platform), Miriam was in charge of Customer Experience Strategy & Data Analytics, Merchant Performance & Quality, Payments, Customer Care and the Product around the Purchase Experience. Growth through digital optimization, digital innovation and outstanding customer experiences is what she is particularly passionate about and has become a part of her DNA. With her multidimensional experience within the digital arena, Miriam has been able to create win-win outcomes to support companies on their path to success. On April 1, she joined the International Strategy Consulting firm Roland Berger as Partner within the Digital Platform (RB N3XT), where she will continue her mission to help businesses reach ambitious targets through identifying and leveraging digital opportunities along their transformation journey. She seeks to strike a balance between strategic goals, prioritizing customer needs, employee buy-in and technological capabilities in order to create sustainable value for her clients.
