Benedikt was born on May 26, 1985, in Freiburg im Breisgau. He is married and the father of two children. After completing an international degree, he moved to Berlin in 2012 and began his career at Axel Springer as a trainee. Following initial roles in sales, he drove the international commercialization of the Axel Springer portfolio at Media Impact from 2016 to 2019. As General Director Digital Sales, he expanded the digital sales business and, from March 2023, served on the management board of Media Impact as Chief Sales Officer, responsible for all sales activities. In early 2025, he was appointed CSO and Managing Director, and since January 2026 he has additionally been responsible as Managing Director for Product, Operations, and Creative & Concept. Media Impact positions itself as a fast, creative, and deeply customer-oriented organization that, with its strong journalistic brands, plays a leading role in programmatic advertising as well as in the fields of data and AI-advertising.
