Christian Bachem is the founder and owner of the strategy consultancy MARKENDIENST Berlin, which specializes in the development of data-driven marketing and media strategies. He has been supporting companies in a wide range of marketing management issues since 1995. His consulting activities focus on the development of sustainable marketing and media mix strategies as well as the verification of the performance, quality and impact of advertising communication. Markendienst's clients include leading retail companies, branded goods manufacturers and industrial groups. Christian has almost 30 years of experience in digital marketing. Through his many years of involvement as a consultant, author, speaker and member of various industry bodies (including agma, BVDW and IVW), he has played an active role in shaping the German online market and has gained recognition as a leading expert across all sectors. Volker Schütz, then editor-in-chief of the trade magazine "Horizont", stated in 2020: "No question: Christian Bachem, has been one of the most high-profile marketing specialists in this country for years." He is also a sought-after moderator and keynote speaker at industry events in Germany and abroad.
