Sven Schmidt

Sven is the co-founder and co-CEO of Hamburg-based ICS Internet Consumer Services GmbH since its inception in 2005. ICS initiates start-ups as well as invests in select few. Furthermore, Sven is also an active shareholder of Senacor Technologies AG, the leading independent German professional services firm for IT transformation. From the beginning of 2010 until the end of 2014 Sven was a Venture Partner with Accel Partners in London. Before that he had the same position with Earlybird Venture Capital. He was responsible for investments like Mitfahrgelegenheit, Prezi, Fiverr and Vinted (known as Kleiderkreisel in Germany). Sven was the co-founder of getgo, an e-commerce ticketing company that was sold to CTS Eventim in 2002. He studied business administration in Dusseldorf, Leipzig & the U.S. and startet his career as a management consultant with McKinsey & Company in Dusseldorf.
