In the role of Chief Growth Officer (CGO) at GroupM Germany, Daniela Tollert is responsible for driving the positive development of our business. The objective is the development and implementation of new customer solutions for the world after third party cookies, from digital and cross-media products and services to data and AdTech solutions that provide universal answers to the changing media environment. GroupM’s strategy going forward also focuses to a great extent on the expansion of strategic partnerships with global players and national media, tech services companies, etc. Before her appointment as CGO Daniela held the function of Chief Digital Officer (CDO) at GroupM Germany for several years. Her comprehensive expertise and in-depth understanding of digital media, MarTech and data in conjunction with a strategic eye for growth potential made her the perfect choice for the consistent implementation of the group’s digital strategy as CDO. From 2016 onwards, Daniela played an instrumental role in the development of a digital consulting unit within GroupM. Before that, between 2011 and 2016, she was a member of the management team at MediaCom, where she held the role of Director of Digital Operations from 2015 onwards, with responsibility for the management of large customer teams and key accounts. Her previous employers include the Carat Direct and Maxus agencies. Daniela embarked on her career at OBI Bau- und Heimwerkermärkte parallel to obtaining her PhD at the University of Cologne.
