Joost van Treeck is a long-standing expert in advertising and consumer psychology. During his time at the Hamburg agency Jung von Matt, he laid the foundations for a new understanding of psychology in marketing in order to increase the efficiency of communication. This was followed by 13 years as Dean of Studies for Business Psychology at the Fresenius University of Applied Sciences in Hamburg, until he decided to focus fully on Cronbach and its spin-off True Relevance in 2024. Even back in 2017, dmexco called him a ‘mastermind in psychographic targeting.’
