As Director of AI, Marlen Schenk is responsible for coordinating AI projects in the newsroom of the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe and S-Communication Services. With over 300,000 employees across 500 companies, the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe is the largest financial services group in Europe. Marlen Schenk advises on the alignment of communication strategies and initiatives and establishes AI-driven processes and structures that support the diverse communication efforts of the 348 Sparkassen currently operating in Germany. These efforts also open up new opportunities for targeted customer engagement. In August 2024, Marlen Schenk launched SparkasseGPT, integrates agents, and introduces avatars into corporate communications. Before joining the Sparkassen-Finanzgruppe, Marlen Schenk worked at various agencies for major and well-known brands.
