As Managing Partner Data & Tech Consulting at GroupM Germany, Max Gangotena is responsible for the development of data-driven and technology-supported media strategies for the agency group. With more than a decade of experience in digital media, he specialises in designing impactful data and technology roadmaps that enable transformative, data-driven solutions for a wide range of clients. His approach is always focused on delivering measurable results and ensuring that each strategy is not only innovative, but also directly aligned to GroupM clients' objectives.
Max has been part of GroupM since 2018, with a brief interruption. Prior to his role as Managing Partner Data & Tech Consulting, he held various positions, most recently as Director Marketing & Advertising Technology at EssenceMediacom. Previously, as Head of Operations at Q Division, among other things, the business administration graduate helped companies to consistently drive their sales through data-driven advertising. Max began his professional career at retail media marketer Kairion, where he played a key role in product development and utilised the largest independent pool of deterministic retail data for targeted marketing strategies.
